1. Stocks bought on Friday, January 31, 2020, should not be sold on Saturday, February 1, 2020(Union            Budget) due to a settlement holiday, it may result in Auction penalty.





2. Multiple settlements have been scheduled which will be settled on 04th February 2020.(Refer below            table)





3.  Placement of TMO orders will be restricted on 1st Feb 2020 (only).





4.  Intra Limits on 1st Feb 2020 will be reduced by 50%.





5.  Commodity Intraday Square off timing will be 4.30 pm.

  • Economic Survey's GDP growth forecast for FY20 wide off projection
  • The GDP growth projection made in Economic Survey 2018-19 was wide off the mark, as the expansion is estimated at only 5 per cent during the current fiscal as against 7 per cent projected earlier.

  • Budget 2020 LIVE updates: Sensex, Nifty fall 0.48% each; Bank Nifty trades below 100-DMA
  • MARKETS LIVE: Sensex slips 150 pts, Nifty around 11,900 ahead of Budget
  • The S&P BSE Sensex dipped 170 points, or 0.4 per cent, at 40,550 levels. Powergrid (down 3%), Tech Mahindra and Tata Steel (both down 2%) were the top laggards in the Sensex pack. On the other hand, Hindustan Unilever (up 1%) gained the most.
  • The broader Nifty50 index was hovering around the 11,900-mark, down 60 points, or 0.5 per cent.
  • A majority of the Nifty sectoral indices were trading in the red. Nifty IT index, down 1 per cent, bled the most, while Nifty Metal index, down 0.9 per cent, also slipped.
  • In the broader market, the S&P BSE MidCap index traded flat while the S&P BSE SmallCap was down 20 points, or 0.14 per cent.
